George Guerra is currently President of GCG Consulting Resources Group. In this capacity is providing expert support to customers in the areas of program management, strategic planning, business development, and manufacturing.  George is a recently retired Vice President, HALE Enterprise Strategic Ventures, for the Unmanned Systems division of Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, a premier provider of manned and unmanned aircraft, space systems and advanced technologies critical to our nation’s security.

In this role, Guerra identified new defense, civil and commercial markets for growth, and developed the strategy, plans and resource requirements to capture these new markets. He worked with the Business and Advanced Systems Development and International organizations in the execution of these responsibilities.

George’s former role was Vice President, Global Hawk UAS Programs, where he was responsible for overall program performance and growth, and the maintenance of strong customer relationships. Previously, Guerra served as director and deputy of the Unmanned Systems Development Center market segment. Earlier, he served as the Global Hawk program manager for product execution, making significant contributions to the program during the early proposal efforts and helping to complete the first Global Hawk air vehicle in 1997. He also worked for General Dynamics-Convair on its cruise missile programs starting in 1983 and then joined Northrop Grumman in 1994.

 Guerra earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Yale University and master’s degrees in manufacturing engineering and business administration from Boston University.
